One shot at in Kishanganj

Kishanganj,May 9 (UNI) Praveen Agrawal, a businessman, was shot at by a criminal gang at Bishnupur under Kochadhaman police station area here today.

Kishanganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Sunil Kumar Sinha, after an on-the-spot enquiry,said four motor-bike borne armed criminals entered the businessman's shop at Bishnupur this morning and demanded money from him.On showing resistance the criminals fired at Praveen Agrawal.

Injured Agrawal was rushed to local MGM Medical College and Hospital where he is out of danger.

Police have swung into action to apprehend the culprits,the SP said.
