Kaur granted bail in human trafficking case

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) A local court today granted bail to Paramjeet Kaur, one of the accused in human trafficking case.

She was arrested at IGI airport while trying to go abroad with BJP MP Babu Bhai Katara on diplomatic passport of Katara's wife.

Paramjeet's counsel argued before the court that she was cheated by the agent who assured her of her passport being genuine.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Kamini Lau, after hearing the arguments, granted bail to Kaur on a security of Rs one lakh and directed her to be present before the Crime Branch, on every Monday, for further investigations .
