Gulbarga records highest temperature 41.4 degree celsius
Bangalore, May 9 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Panambur 3.
Maximum temperatures fell at appreciably few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably above normal at few places over Coastal Karnataka; however they were below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 41.4 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Thundery conditions possible towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 33 degree celsius.
