Ex-MLA expelled from AIADMK

Chennai, May 9 (UNI) AIADMK legislature committee advisor and former legislator K Subbu was today expelled from the party for anti-party activities.

In a statement here, AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa said Mr Subbu had violated party discipline and acted in a manner bringing disrepute to the party.

He was removed from the primary membership of the party and divested of all posts, she said and asked party workers not to have any kind of ties with him.

The veteran Dravidian leader began his career in the DMK. He had served in both the Legislative Assembly and the now defunct Council, before joining the AIADMK.
