DoP opens 24x7 Mail Business Centre at Jammu

Jammu, May 9 (UNI) To provide integrated mailing solution to the postings and registration problems of customers, the Department of Posts (DoP) Jammu and Kashmir Circle has started fully computerised round-the-clock Mail Business Centre.

The Mail Business Centre, at RMS Bhawan, Railway Station, Jammu (Tawi), is providing 24 hours booking of Speed Post, Express Parcel Post (EPP), Registered articles and sale of stamps, besides, processing of Bulk mails from Bulk mailers for efficient and speedy processing of such mails, a statement said.

Delivery of Speed Post and EPP articles is also being effected directly from Mail Business Centre on all days, including Sundays and Holidays, it said.

The DoP has requested EPP customers to use the facilities for quicker transmission of their products.
