CPI candidate files nomination for June 2 Goa assembly polls

Panaji, May 9 (UNI) A candidate of the Communist Party of India (CPI) today filed his nomination papers for the Pale constituency in North Goa for the June 2 elections to the 40-member state legislative assembly.

With this, Christopher Fonseca became the sole candidate to have filed his nomination papers so far since the process of receiving the papers began yesterday.
