Cops rewarded for nabbing LeT militant
Gulbarga, Karnataka, May 9 (UNI) Karnataka Director General of Police K Srinivasan today announced cash rewards and Good Service Entry Awards to police personnel of the city who played a key role in nabbing a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant in Gulbarga last year.
Officials said the DGP had announced cash rewards to all the police personnel who took part in the operation. ASP Ravi Kumar Nayak, DSP (rural) S S Nayak, Inspectors Nandakumar, Sudeer Hegde, B M Hugar, Sadanand Thippan and Sub Inspector Dayanand were among those who were recognised for their services.
The city police arrested LeT militant Abdul Rehman on March 30 last year.
