CM Raje dedicates Falodi-Pachpadara Road

Jaipur, May 9 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today dedicated to the people of the state the 154 km long road from Falodi to Pachpadara constructed under the Mega Highway Project with an expenditure of Rs.136.51 crore.

The chief minister said on the occasion ''It is a remarkable achievement for the state in the direction of creating world class infrastructure through public-private partnership''.

The Chief Minister emphasised the significance of infrastructure in the era of globalisation for overall develoment of the state said the state government had formulated the Mega Highway Project costing Rs 1500 crore for constructing 1053km international quality roads in 14 districts of the state. She added that target has been set to complete the project witin two years.

Presiding over the function PWD minister Rajendra Singh Rathore said the present government spent Rs12,820 crore in the last three years for the development of road network. He informed that 15,519 km roads had been constrcuted and 5335 villages were connected with roads in the state in the last three years.
