Armed forces pay scales to be revised after Commission's report

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju today informed the Rajya Sabha that the Government was aware of the prevailing pay scales of the Army personnel.

Replying to Ms Sushila Tiriya (INC), he said the Government was pathetic about the pay scales of all the three services in Armed Forces and was awaiting the recommendations of the Pay Commission which would submit its report by April 2008.

The Minister said the increase in pays cales would cover all the three services after the Pay Commission submits its recommendations.
