43 gas cylinders seized

Mandsaur, MP, May 9 (UNI) About 43 cooking gas cylinders have been seized during raids at 27 shops and hotels by a squad of the Food and Civil Supplies Department in this district, official sources said today.

The raids were carried out by a team led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate H S Meena yesterday in a bid to stop the misuse of domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purposes.

Cases were registered in this regard under the Essential Commodities Act.
