M'shtra: 3 held for coercing people to convert

Kolhapur, May 9: Three persons have been arrested for allegedly coercing people to convert their religion.

They -- Ramesh Kopargol (34), Ajit Lagmanna Belvi (35) and Rama Maruti Shinde -- were produced before First Class Judicial Magistrate at Ichalkaranji who remanded them in police custody till May 11.

The trio were arrested yesterday on the complaint of the Hindutvawadi Sangathana, claiming that it had found them coercing six Hindu persons to embrace Christianity.
