10 kg IED recovered in Doda

Jammu, May 9 (UNI) Security forces today recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) of 10 kg, hidden in a tin container at Gandoh in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, an army spokesman said.

Troops of 26 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and police found the IED at Sharale, one km South-East of Gandoh, Army's XVI Corps spokesman Col D K Badola said.

The IED was camouflaged by dry leaves in a nullah, he further informed.
