Small sugar prices eases further on poor demand
Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) Sugar prices in small grade eased further today on poor demand, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchant's Association said.
Sugar in small and medium grades, fell by Rs eight and Rs 15 per quintal respectively, on sustained heavy selling pressure.
Sugar in ex-mill small and medium grades remained steady again on moderate demand.
Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,295/1,335, Medium grade: Rs 1,325/1,385, Ex-mill: Small grade: Rs 1,283/1,315, Medium grade: Rs 1,300/1,350.
