Isolated rain over Coastal AP

Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, while the weather has been dry over Telangana and Rayalaseema.

According to weather office here today, Ichapuram recorded highest rainfall of three cm followed by Tuni, Bobbili, Cheepurupalli and Palasa two cm each.

The maximum temperature fell significantly at a few places over Rayalaseema and Telangana, and changed little over Coastal Andhra Pradesh yesterday.

They were above normal at one or two places over Telangana but significantly below normal at a few places over Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The highest maximum temperature of 43 degree C was recorded at Khammam and Ramagundam, the MET department said.
