UP accident kills 3

Lucknow, May 7 (UNI) At least three persons were killed and five others severely injured after a speeding car, carrying them, rammed into an oncoming truck here today.

The accident took place at IT square in Mahanagar area, in which three persons died on the spot, police said.

The injured were admitted to Trauma Centre of the King George Medical College, where they were said to be in serious condition.

The deceased, identified as Anil, Jitendra and Munna, were returning from a marriage ceremony in Barabanki district.
