Spice launches package with zero processing fees

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) Cellular service provider Spice Telecom today launched a package with zero processing fees and daily rental, thus offering one of the most cheapest packages for its customer in Punjab.

The package 'Spice TOTAL' will be exclusively for pre-paid new subscribers at an introductory recharge of Rs 255 with talktime of Rs 175 and two months validity, zero rental and full value on subsequent recharges.

New subscribers will also receive a free SMS package that will provide them with 2,000 free local SMS.

The existing subscribers can avail the 'Spice TOTAL' pack benefits by recharging with Rs 201, a statement said.

Spice to spice call rates will be 50 paise per minute, spice to local GSM will be Re 1 per minute whereas spice to CDMA and Landline will be 50 paise per minute.

Spice Telecom Punjab Assistant Vice President (Marketing) Mukul Khanna said, ''With this matchless offering of lowest ever call rates to Landline and CDMA mobile combined with a zero daily rental and zero administration fees, Spice has created a new paradigm in the mobile telephony industry.'' 'Spice TOTAL' pack will further reinforce our promise of delivering the best value to our customers and make mobility more affordable, he added.

Subscribers to the 'Spice TOTAL' prepaid pack can subsequently recharge the pack with denominations worth Rs 250, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000.

Spice Telecom, the brand name of Spice Communications Limited is presently operating cellular phone services in the states of Punjab and Karnataka.

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) has 49 per cent stake in Spice Communications Limited (Spice) through TMI India Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TM's international investment holding company TM International Sdn Bhd (TMI).

The remaining 51 per cent is with Modi Wellvest Private Limited, the promoter company.

UNI
