Small sugar prices ease on poor demand
Mumbai, May 7 (UNI) Sugar prices in small grade eased on poor demand, traders at the Bombay Sugar Merchant's Association said today.
Sugar in small and medium grades, fell by Rs seven and Rs 15 per quintal respectively, on lack of fresh demand.
Sugar in ex-mill small and medium grades remained steady on moderate demand.
Following are the spot wholesale rates per quintal: Small grade: Rs 1,303/1,340, Medium grade: Rs 1,325/1,400, Ex-mill: Small grade: Rs 1,283/1,315, Medium grade: Rs 1,300/1,350.
