RLD leader shot dead

Sultanpur, May 7 (UNI) Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) state general secretary B K Sharma was shot dead by two unidentified assailants during a 'vidai' ceremony of his sister in the district this afternoon.

The incident took place on Raniganj highway in Shukul Bazar area, where Mr Singh was fatally wounded while he was engaged in the 'vidai' ceremony of his sibling.

The 35-year-old Singh died on the spot, police said.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the assailants.
