One more blast victim succumbs

Belgaum, May 7 (UNI) The death toll in the starch factory fire incident in Gokak town in this district rose to five with one more injured worker succumbing to burns.

The blast that took place when a leaking gas cylinder resulted in starch stocks catching fire at Riddi Siddi Starch factory, about 70 km from here on Friday, resulted in one person being charred to death on the spot and 34 others receiving burns.

Three others died at Belgaum hospital, yesterday.
