Missing girl recovered

Barrackpore, May 07 (UNI) A girl, reportedly missing since 1997, was found with her step mother in South 24 Parganas after ten years.

Police arrested both girl and step mother today.

Police said a general missing diary was recorded with the Khardah police station in North 24 Parganas ten years back.

Both girl and her step mother remained untraced since then.

A sister of Mr Dey informed Sonar police station, seeking their help to get the girl back to her brother.

As Sonarpur police handed over both mother and girl to Khardah police, they were taken into custody.

Both would be produced before the Magistrate at Barrackpore court tomorrow, police said.
