Gram Pradhan's husband murdered

Bulandshahr, May 7 (UNI) Unidentified assailants shot dead the husband of a Gram Pradhan in Kotwali area of the district today.

The incident occurred at Bolagaon crossing, where Dhimari village Gram Pradhan Hemlata's husband Naresh Thakur (32) was killed, when he was on his way to Bulandshahr.

An old fierce rivalry was ascertained to be the reason behind the crime, police said.

A search for the accused was on.
