Four cops served contempt notice
New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) A local court today issued contempt notices to two former SHOs of Ashok Vihar police station and two other police personnel.
The two SHOs--Shiv Dayal and Prakash Khera-- had been directed on different dates by metropolitan magistrates not to destroy the daily diary maintained in the police station. But they had gone against the court directives and destroyed them.
The matter came to light during the trial of a murder case pending before Sessions Judge R P S Teji. The notices were slapped on them by metropolitan judge Sandeep Yadav.
The other two police personnel served notices were Inspector Usha Bai and sub-inspector Surendra Yadav on the same charges.
