Feedback Ventures awarded highways project in AP

New Delhi, May 7 (uni) Feedback Ventures, a leading integrated infrastructure services company of the country, has been awarded a World Bank-funded project to help design and bid out 1,226-km of state highways in Andhra Pradesh under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.

This is Andhra Pradesh's longest-ever highway stretch given to a single company and the eight stretches of roads are likely to attract Rs 3,000 crore of investment.

Feedback Ventures is to provide both the PPP techno-economic feasibility and the engineering design. The project is scheduled to be completed in nine months. After the completion, the company would assist the AP Road Development Corporation (APRDC) in bidding out these eight stretches to private investors.

The eight stretches include: Hyderabad to Karimnangar to Ramagundam road, Warangal to Raipatnam road, Warangal to Khamman to Tallada road, Tallada to Devrapalli road; Narketpalli to Addanki road, Pericherla to Thokapalli road, Puthaplapattu to Naidupet Road, and Kadapa to Renigunta road.

The company also announced the opening of its new, larger regional office in Hyderabad, which allows space for teams from all of Feedback's five divisions to work simultaneously.

''I am glad that Feedback is expanding its capacity to work in Andhra Pradesh through its new office. There are many opportunities that the state offers for infrastructure development, across all sectors. I'm sure that Feedback's ten-year track record of work in Andhra Pradesh will be strengthened in the years to come from our new office,'' said Feedback President Vinayak Chatterjee.

Currently, Feedback is providing consultancy services to review and update the Sewerage Master Plan for rehabilitation, strengthening, and improvement of existing sewerage system for the drainage project area of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Some of Feedback's projects completed in Andhra Pradesh are capital planning for Khamman and eight other towns and consultancy services on building the rail line from Krishnapatnam port to Obuvallirapalle.
