EC issues notice to Digvijay Singh

New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) The Election Commission has issued a notice to senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh for violation of EC instructions and violation of the model code of conduct during the ongoing Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

The commission has directed Mr Singh to reply by tomorrow.

The notice asks as to why action should not be initiated against him for the lapse.
