Dust storms lash MP
Bhopal, May 7 (UNI) A hot summer morning gave way to strong dust-laden winds and light rainfall in the state capital this afternoon, forcing the mercury to dip and bringing a respite to people.
Strong dust-laden winds, hails and rainfall also lashed several other parts of Madhya Pradesh, including Shajapur and Dewas districts and neighbourhood.
The day temperature at most places was nromal at around 40-41 degrees Celsius.
Weather scientists attributed the change to an upper air cyclonic circulation in Chhattisgarh and troughs in east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. Light rainfall was predicted in the next 24 hours.
