Beyonce and Shakira rule UK charts for 3rd week

LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) Pop queens Beyonce and Shakira secured a third week at the top of the British pop charts with their duet ''Beautiful Liar'', according to data from the Official UK Charts Company.

Alternative rockers the Manic Street Preachers soared 24 places to second place with ''Your Love Alone Is Not Enough'', their first top 10 hit in more than two years.

New York rappers Gym Class Heroes climbed five places to number three with ''Cupid's Chokehold''.

Cambridge electro pop act Groove Armada were up 21 places at nine with ''Get Down'', featuring London singer Stush.

California pop band Hellogoodbye were new at number 10 with ''Here (In Your Arms)''.

In the album charts Sheffield rockers the Arctic Monkeys remained at number one for a second week with their critically acclaimed ''Favourite Worst Nightmare''.

Canadian crooner Michael Buble was new at number two with ''Call Me Irresponsible'', a collection of jazz and big band standards.

The week's other new albums in the top 10 were ''Because Of You'' from R&B artist Ne-Yo and ''NB'' from London pop singer Natasha Bedingfield.
