Adobe Systems to launch Adobe Creative Suite 3 product

Chennai, May 7 (UNI) The Adobe Systems India today announced its plan to launch their latest offering Adobe Creative Suite 3 Product Line in South India.

Talking to newspersons here, Sandeep Mehrotra, Country Sales Manager of the Company said the new Creative Suite 3 line-up united the best of adobe macromedia product innovation to provide designers and developers with a broad spectrum of creative options for all facets of print, web mobile, interactive, film and video production.

There were six-new configurations of adobe creative suite 3, he added.

Mr Mehrotra said with this launch, the company was confident of their unique market position in enterprising states such as Tamil Nadu. The state has a huge amount of market potential with a large number of publications being published here, he added.

Chennai alone has more than 1000 printers and free press houses and more than 100 content outsourcing organisations, he said.

He said India today is becoming a hub for creative outsourcing and Chennai was at the heart of this boom. According to NASSCOM predictions, there would be a need for three lakh professionals in the animation field alone by 2008, he said.

He said keeping this in mind, as a special initiative, the company is having tie-ups with educational institutions in Tamil Nadu. Besides this, the company was also working with a technical university in the state to help them to set up multi-media labs for students aspiring to acquire skills in the creative industry, he added.

Mr Mehrotra said due to ongoing growth of the Tamil Film Industry, post-production work here has taken a new turn. Animation work for domestic and international projects was scaling new heights as well, he said.

The manager said realising the immense potential, the company was striving to help build the momentum in the new Industry.

The company has other initiatives, including channel training, conducting road shows in as many as 13 cities, including Chennai, Cochin, Jaipur and Chandigarh, to promote their business, besides focusing on advertising, web development, print and publishing animation, education and e learning, he added.
