2 held with heroin

Ratlam,MP, May 7 (UNI) Two people, including a woman, were arrested with 300 gram heroin worth about Rs 30 lakh along with materials for manufacturing the narcotic drug here yesterday, Narcotics Control Bureau said.

On a tip-off, the Bureau's prevention squad searched Ayub and Parveen while they were heading towards the railway station after alighting from a bus on Jaora road. Besides heroin, two packets containing 990 gm and 300 gm material for manufacturing heroin were recovered from their possession.

During interrogation, they confessed that they were on their way to hand-over the drug to a person at the railway station.

Parveen's husband was already in the jail on charge of smuggling.
