Woman Maoist ideologue arrested in Haryana

Yamunanagar, May 6 (UNI) The Women Cell President of the Jagroop Shashtra Morcha, a Haryana based organisation believing in Maoist ideology, has been arrested.

The woman identified as Poonam was arrested from her house in Khizrabad village in the district late last night. She was charged of indulging in-anti national activities and booked under various sections of the law.

Poonam is the wife of Sanjay, the state chief of the organisation against whom a similar case has been registered at Hisar. She had been underground for quite sometime.

She is the fourth person of this organisation to have been arrested in less than a month in the district. In April, three persons identified as Jagtar, Samrat and Rinku, all members of the Shivalik Adarsh Manch, an affiliated wing of the Jagroop Manch, were arrested on similar charges.
