Two arrested; a gun and cartidges recovered

Mysore, May 6: The city police have arrested two people last night and recovered a gun and cartridges from them.

Police said that the night patrol police spotted a car moving with out a number plate and when asked to stop the car speedaway.

However, it was intercepted on Mahadevapura road in the outskirts of the city and the duo were taken into custody.

On interrogation, Faroo from Hunsur and Naushad from Kushalnagar claimed that they had brought the car from a person from Salem and were on their way to sell the gun and 18 cartridges.
