Three labourers working on Metro site die after wall collapse
New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) Three labourers working on the Metro construction sites at the Indraprastha-Noida section today died and another was injured after a wall of a water tank at a labour camp at East Delhi's Mayur Vihar collapsed.
At around 1330 hours, a water tank wall at the labour camp at Chilla Gaon near Mayur Vihar District Centre, where these labourers reside, collapsed, leading to the death of the three and injuring one, a DMRC spokesperson said.
The labourers were hired by M/s Navayuga construction, the contractors for the metro work on the Indraprastha-Noida section.
The labour camp has been built by the contractor M/s Navyuga construction to house the labour working at various sites.
