Ten landmines unearthed in AP

Khammam, May 6 (UNI) Ten landmines, each weighing more than two kg, were unearthed today from a forest area near Bandirevu and Doragutta villages of Bhadrachalam mandal in this district.

Police said the landmines were planted by CPI (Maoist) to target the police engaged in anti-naxal operation.

Some revolutionary literature was also recovered in the search.

UNI
