Sikkim CM impressed by AP irrigation projects

Hyderabad, May 6 (UNI) Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling commended the irrigation projects taken up by the Andhra Pradesh Government.

Mr Chamling, who was here on a private visit, went around the exhibition displaying the irrigation projects taken up by the state government under ''Jalayagnam'' scheme.

Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah, explained him about various ongoing projects taken up by the government with a view to providing irrigated water to the backward areas and bring more land under cultivation.
