Security tightened in Kashmir for Darbar Move

Srinagar, May 6 (UNI) Security forces have been put on alert across the Kashmir valley in view of the re-opening of 'Darbar Move' offices, including the Civil Secretariat, from Jammu to Srinagar tomorrow, official sources said today.

They said security has been upgraded to maximum levels at the Civil Secretariat, which is the nerve centre of all official activities and houses the offices of the Chief Minister, his Cabinet colleagues and other top bureaucrats.

The sources said the security has been further beefed up at all hotels, government quarters and private accommodation where the migrant and other employees have been lodged.

Security personnel in large numbers have been deployed all along the route to be taken by the VIPs and the 'Darbar Move' employees.

The sources said the security personnel have been asked to remain extra alert in view of the 'Darbar Move'.
