Pondy CM's assurance to tailors

Puducherry, May 6 (UNI) The administration would consider framing a scheme for providing pension to the tailors in the union territory, Chief Minister N Rangasamy said here today.

Speaking at the 42nd anniversary of the tailors association, Mr Rangasamy said the administration would also examine the possibility of setting up a welfare board for them besides considering their demands such as provision of free spectacles.

About 500 tailors participated in the function.
