ONGC's oil operations reach final stages
Dubai, May 6: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's (ONGC) oil exploration operations in Iran's Farsi block have reached the final stages, a senior Iranian oil company official has said.
The report would be finished soon, said Hossein Roshandel, who is in charge of explorations with foreign companies.
Currently geological studies on derivable reserves of the region are underway, he added.
With an area of 6,700 square kilometers, Farsi block is situated in the Persian Gulf and the depth of water reaches 90 metres.
