MP reels under severe heat conditions

Bhopal, May 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh continued to reel under severe heat conditions even as some parts received light rainfall.

Regional Meteorological Department said light rainfall occurred in Indore and Ujjain divisions overnight, while weather was dry in other parts.

Rajgarh recorded highest temperature at 44 degree Celsius.

Showers accompanied with lightning was forecasted in Jabalpur division in the next 24 hours.

A hot day was experienced in the state capital since morning.

Later, clouds enveloped the sky bringing some respite.
