Mecury drops in MP

Bhopal, May 6 (UNI) A drop in temperature was today recorded in most places in Madhya Pradesh.

Light rainfall occurred in Barwani district, with Sendhwa and Thikri towns being lashed by showers.

Regional Meteorological Department spokesperson forecasted light rainfall at isolated places courtesy upper air circulation built over eastern Madhya Pradesh.

Showers accompanied with lightning was forecasted in Jabalpur division in the next 24 hours.

Mercury dropped to 38-41 deg C from 43-45 deg C at several places.
