JNNURM team visits slums in AP city

Visakhapatnam, May 6 (UNI) A three-member team from Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) led by Urban Poverty Alleviation Joint Secretary P K Mahaothey and Union Minister of State for Mines T Subarami Reddy today visited slums in the city.

The team inspected the Vambay colony in Madhurawada. It would submit a report to the government in two days.

District Collector A K Singhal, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Commissioner M K Meena and Mayor P Janrdhna Rao also accompanied the team.
