Gulbarga records highest temperature 40.2 degree celsius
Bangalore, May 6 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Savanur 4, Somwarpet, Hassan 3 each. Madapura 2, Kottigehara, Nanjangud 1 each.
Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 40.2 degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over the State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of the State.
Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
