Engineer claims to invent low-cost power generator
New Delhi, May 6: To resolve the power crisis in the country, a low-cost power generator has been developed that consumes nearly 10 per cent of normal fuel.
It has been claimed that the power generator has the potential to solve the major power crisis in very short span of time in the country.
''Its design is so simple that it is going to be mass copied even in the rural and inaccessible areas in the country,'' inventor Ashok K Rai has said.
Mr Rai's efforts were appreciated by many Indian leaders including country's first Prime Minister Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, Ms Indira Gandhi, Mr Rajiv Gandhi, Mr Narasimha Rao in the past.
