Dharna for arrest of culprits in ex-VAO murder case

Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, May 6 (UNI) Demanding the arrest of culprits involved in the murder of Former Village Administrative Officer (VAO) Dharma Reddy a week ago here, family members of he deceased and supporters led by Srikalahasteeswara Trust Board (STB) Chairman Kola Anand today observed dharna before Srikalahasti Urban Police Station.

As many as 500 persons gathered at the police station and raised slogans against the police for alleged delay in the inquiry into the murder.

Later, they staged rasta roko near the Srikalahasti Temple demanding suspension of Srikalahasti Urban Circle Inspector Ramesh Babu who, they alleged, was responsible for the delay in conducting the inquiry.
