Agreement by IGNOU, Sudan Open University for scientific cooperation

New Delhi, May 6 (UNI) The Indira Gandhi National Open University has signed an agreement with the Open University of Sudan for strengthening scientific ties between the two open universities.

Under the agreement, both the universities are to identify common objectives and concerns in the areas of higher education and training, research and development, ICT enabled education, multimedia education, resources sharing and exchange of expertise.

On the occasion, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU V N Rajashekharan Pillai assured the Vice Chancellor of OUS that IGNOU would extend its cooperation in all relevant aspects for the benefit of African distance learners.

While the agreement was signed by Registrar, IGNOU, D K Tetri on behalf of IGNOU and Vice chancellor of the Open university of Sudan A E Mohammed on behalf of the Open University.
