67,000 appear for COMED-K test
Bangalore, May 6 (UNI) More than 67,000 students wrote common entrance test conducted by COMED-K, a consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka, for admission into Medical, Dental and Engineering courses.
Out station students out numbered locals with nearly 45,000 appeared for the test, while 22,192 students from Karnataka wrote the test held in 104 centres in different parts of the State between 1000 hrs to 1630 hrs.
COMED-K Secretary Dr S Kumar said that the exams went off without any incidents. The consortium had made a foolproof facility for orderly conduct of the examination.
In all 886 Medical, 776 Dental and 9063 Engineering seats are on offer.
