Workshop to sensitise Councillors to health issues

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) A workshop to sensitise newly-elected Councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to significant public issues of health and environment was held in the Capital today.

Organised on the initiative of Delhi Mayor Aarti Mehra, the workshop saw participation from nearly 250 councillors all of whom felt that the information and knowledge disseminated at the workshop would help them at field level in their respective constituencies.

Prominent among those who attended the workshop were senior BJP leader and former Delhi Health Minister Harshvardhan, Leader of the MCD house Subhash Arya and chairman of the Standing Committee Vijender Gupta.
