Mah: 2 killed,10 injured in Chemical factory blast

Nashik, May 5: Two persons were killed and 10 others injured in a blast in a chemical factory at Sinhar, 30 km from here.

Police today said, the blast occurred at Premier X-10 Chemical Company, an explosive manufacturing company late last night at around 0130 hrs, killing two persons instantly.

The factory manufactures explosives, including gelatin sticks.

The blast was so massive that the three-storeyed factory building was reduced to rubble.

At least 10 labourers are believed to be buried under the debris.

Eighteen labourers were working in the factory when the blast took place, police said.
