TTD EO suspends barber, superintendent

Tirumala, May 5 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer K V Ramanachari today ordered suspension of a barber and a Superintendent , the former for accepting bribe and the latter for dereliction of duty.

The barber K Srinivas, working in Public Amenities Complex (PAC)-II, had accepted bribe from a devotee and the Superintendent Shiv Shanker Reddy, working at Sanku Mitta Cottage (SMC), had supplied poor quality bed sheets for devotees staying in the complex.

Mr Ramanachari instructed the health department officials to clean the garbage daily at various places in Tirumala and keep the premises clean.
