Sub-inspector suspended for assaulting a person

Davangere, May 5 (UNI) A police Sub-Inspector was placed under suspension on Thursday on charges of inhumanely assaulting a person in a public place.

The suspended cop, Ramesh Rao, was attached to traffic police station here.

A departmental inquiry had also been initiated against him by Inspector General of Police (Eastern Range) M S Pasha, police sources said.
