State Excise official dies of heart attack in train

Akola, May 5 (UNI) A state excise official has died of heart attack at Akola railway station.

Sharad Bajirao Shinde (45), suffered a massive heart attack yesterday, when he was travelling in Mumbai-bound super deluxe express, and died before he was taken to a hospital.

He complained of chest pain to the ticket examiner at Murtizapur, who called a doctor, travelling by the same train, to check on Shinde.

The doctor referred Shinde to a hospital, but died at Akola before he could be taken to the hospital.

The body has been taken to General hospital here to conduct an autopsy.

Meanwhile, his family members have been informed about the death.
