SI suspended for assaulting a person

Davangere, May 5 (UNI) A Sub-Inspector (SI) of police was placed under suspension on May three on charges of assaulting a person in public.

The suspended cop, Ramesh Rao, was attached to traffic police station here.

A departmental inquiry was initiated against him by Inspector General of Police (Eastern Range) M S Pasha, police sources said.
